BACHELOR (Honours) IN PLANET SCIENCE (Biotehcnology) – UNIVERSITY OF GLASCOW, ADAS PART 4 DIVER, ADAS PART 3 DIVING SUPERVISOR.

LICENCES & CERTIFICATIONS:
LEVEL 2 FIRST AID, O2 PROVIDER, CONFINED SPACE TICKET, WORKING SAFELY AT HEIGHTS TICKET, EANx GAS BELNDER, MARINE RADIO OPERATORS, WHITE CARD, KIRBY MORGAN USER OPERATOR, FORKLIFT LICENCE, COXSWAINS.

INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE:
40 YEARS.

Bob holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Plant Science (Biotechnology) from Glasgow University and has over 40 years of experience working in the commercial diving industry. This includes both offshore saturation diving and onshore commercial works in Australia and Europe. Bob has extensive experience in saturation bell diving in the North Sea. Some of the areas Bob worked in include Oil Rig Support, Platform Installation as well as maintenance inspection in a range of oil fields over a 20-year period.

Bob also has extensive experience as a commercial diving trainer with the Fort William Dive Centre in Scotland and the Underwater Centre in Tasmania.

The majority of Bobs work over the past decade has been concentrated throughout Victoria. He has planned and managed projects and mentored divers through a range of major marine inspection and rehabilitation projects which have taken place. These have included the PoM Station Pier inspections, survey and rehabilitation works at Appleton Dock, Gellibrand Pier and Webb Dock. Bob has extensive experience supervising and diving in a range of contaminated environments.

Bob is a Commercial Diving Supervisor in accordance with AS/NZS2299.1 and has over 25,000 hours of commercially logged dive time. Bob has extensive experience supervising commercial dive crews in difficult and deep diving conditions with an impressive track record in implementing construction and survey projects.
